Social Media Guru visits Panamanian Chamber of Commerce

Social media Guru, Terry Brock,  shared his secrets at a seminar hosted by the Panamanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. His presentation titled “Prospering in ANY Economy – Rules and Tools for Success” showed the members of the Chamber and guests how to do business through online social networks.

Terry advocates on consumer generated marketing and believes participation is the key. “It is all about the R (building relationships)”, says Terry. Social media networks like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc allow for companies to do immediate product or service testing and obtain response from potential clients in seconds.

The event was part of the Chambers communication committee’s plan to reach out to a larger audience. In their effort they have created a Facebook profile (Cciap Camara de Comercio) and a Linkedin group to discuss matters pertinent to Panama’s commerce.
